The 2015 Infiniti Q70 lineup just gained a new long wheelbase version, the Q70L, Infiniti announced last week at the New York International Auto Show.

The additional length of about 6 inches makes the rear legroom of the Q70L on par with that of SUV vehicles.  Infiniti said that the longer wheelbase not only provides extra knee and leg space for the passenger sitting in the back, but also boosts the “athletic presence of the sedan”.  The Q70L targets customers who want sporty sedan that can provide executive interior room.
In addition to adding a new long wheelbase version, the Q70 also receives some major mid-seasonal makeovers, including the new front LED headlights, new grille, new front bumper and integrated fog lights, new LED lights in the rear, and new shape for the trunk-lid.
Under the hood are the same engine choices from last year, the 3.7-L V6 and the 5.6-L V8.  The V6 engine delivers 330 horsepower and 270 lb.-ft. of torque on both standard and long wheelbase models, whereas the V8 engine delivers 420 horsepower and 417 lb.-ft. of torque on the standard model, and if powering the long wheelbase model, it delivers 416 horsepower and 414 lb.-ft. of torque.
