2015 Subaru

Joining the 2015 BRZ lineup this July will be 1,000 limited units of the BRZ Special Edition dubbed “BRZ Series.Blue”.  Instead of being all painted in blue as its name suggested, 500 units will be painted in WR Blue Pearl and 500 units will be in Crystal White Pearl.

Built on the BRZ Limited model, the Subaru BRZ Series.Blue rides on STI 17-inch wheels and features the “STI functional aerodynamic body design”, which underlines “low vehicle weight”, “ultra-low center of gravity” and “precision steering”.  The STI front, side skirts, side-rear under spoilers gives the BRZ Series.Blue extra front downforce, and the underbody panels diminish the coefficient of drag.
Other additional special treatments, to name a few, include blue leather seat bolsters and head rests, blue stitching on various parts, leather-wrapped steering wheel, shift lever boot and parking brake handle.  The BRZ Series.Blue also gains a frameless rear view mirror and carbon-fiber-looked center dash panel.
Available with only 6-speed manual transmission, the 2015 Subaru BRZ Series.Blue Special Edition will be priced at $29,490 with an additional destination charge of $795, which makes it the most expensive model in the 2015 BRZ lineup, about $2,000 more than 6MT equipped BRZ Limited model which it was based on.
