Toyota today introduced the new 2015 Camry race which will run in next year NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS).
The Toyota Camry NASCAR race car was first introduced in 2012 for NASCAR Gen-6 program, and this year Toyota is the first car company in the series to update the NASCAR Gen-6 model. This Camry race car will also run in the next year NASCAR Xfinity Series.
Built by TRD and Toyota design team, Calty Design, the 2015 Camry race car retains some design features from the 2015 production Camry, and therefore it has the same look with the everyday 2015 Camry. It has the same new front fascia from the production model plus for racing purpose, it gains a new hood and nose, updated quarter window and a new rear spoiler, and of course, a performance upgrade.
